Job Description

To inspect and assist the operators in maintaining a high-quality product per existing Process Control sheets and inform management when out-of-control or out-of-tolerance conditions exist.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Communicate with previous shift (Changes to inspection processes, customer concerns, etc.). Audit production areas (Molding & sintering inspection•visual / metrology). Reference work instruction for inspection frequency and sample sizes. Communicate to supervision (Lead Person) for corrective action. Communicate to Technician for disposition of non-conforming material or potential issues. Facilitate movement of NCM to hold areas. Calibrate and document required equipment at the beginning of shift (e.g., Micrometers) or before each use (e.g., CMM, Video inspection). File data sheets, Final Inspection sheets (FIR's), etc. Assist Die Setters with any metrology issues. Assist in containment of product. Inspect product. Assist in on the job (OJT) training of new inspectors and new operators at orientation. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Graduate /
GED Safety Requirements:
When required in specific areas. This includes, but is not limited to safety glasses, with side shields, hearing protection, and gloves.
