Job Overview The Ship Loose position is vital in our modular home company, it is essential in ensuring the efficient and accurate process of handling and coordinating all materials, parts, and components that are not installed in the home during the factory assembly but are instead shipped separately to the job site. These items are typically necessary for final on-site assembly, finishing, or customization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Organize and document ship loose material by job lot(s) in preparation for shipping. Compile ship loose bin checks for material. Pack ship loose material into crates for shipping. Place the ship loose material crates into the modular unit boxes and ensure they are secured for transport. Collect pictures and documentation of all ship loose materials for shipping purposes. Organize and record shipments using job information. Other jobs are assigned. Requirements and Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma. Experience and license for forklift operation as necessary. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools. Familiarity with construction materials. Strong eye for detail and organization. Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times. Ability to lift up to 80lbs. Extended periods of standing, bending, stretching, kneeling, and reaching while operating machinery. Preferred Skills Experience in modular home construction. Prior forklift experience.
