Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other measuring tools to verify product conformity. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to ensure accurate quality assessments. Conduct quality audits to evaluate adherence to ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, FDA regulations, and internal quality systems. Utilize analysis skills to identify root causes of defects or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of inspection results, data collection logs, and non-conformance reports to support traceability and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into production processes from start to finish. Support calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments to guarantee measurement accuracy and reliability. Requirements Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as QA/QC protocols. Proficiency in interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), mechanical blueprints, and production documents. Hands-on experience with calibration and use of precision measurement tools including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other measuring instruments. Familiarity with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, HACCP, FDA
regulations, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand manufacturing processes and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Strong analysis skills for identifying issues related to dimensional measurements or process deviations. Basic math skills necessary for measurement calculations and data analysis.
