Job Description

Job Title:
Quality Control Technician Job Description Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections using established procedures and measurement tools. Conduct sampling, testing, and verification of materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications. Document inspection results, nonconformities, and corrective actions in accordance with quality management system. Support root-cause analysis and participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities. Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, ensuring accuracy and readiness. Assist in internal audits, process audits, and preparation for external audits. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and operational guidelines. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, lean practices, and process optimization. Knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications Technical degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related fields. Experience with ERP or QMS software is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lima, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.
