Job Description
Job Overview Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local electronics manufacturer in Lincoln, RI seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will monitor, test, and inspect materials to ensure they meet all quality standards. This role requires exceptional visual acuity and steady hands to handle, measure, and inspect intricate, small-scale components. Primary Responsibilities Read blueprints and technical instructions to fully understand product expectations. Approve or reject raw materials or finished parts based on established quality standards. Measure parts dimensions using calipers, micrometers, or gauges to verify tolerances . Maintain precise records of daily testing metrics, including defect counts. Report quality defects directly to the Quality Manager for immediate resolution Monitor equipment use to guarantee tools are safe and well-maintained. Assist other departments with quality-related tasks as operational needs arise. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role. Familiarity with intricate, small-scale components Keen eye for detail combined with a highly results-driven professional mindset. Responsible and trustworthy character with a strong dedication to accuracy. Familiarity with machines used for quality testing and automated systems. Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and industry testing methodologies. Physical Demands Lift up to 40 lbs during daily material handling and filing tasks. Stand or sit for the entire duration of a work shift. Perform physical movements including bending, twisting, reaching, and walking daily. Standard Job Requirements At least 18 years old (for legal and insurance compliance) High school diploma or GED? Ability to 1) read, write, understand and speak basic English, 2) apply basic English literacy to perform daily tasks like fill out forms or reading signs, 3) follow direct verbal or written instructions, and 4) communicate risks with coworkers. Within comfortable commuting distance to and from 4 Court Drive, Lincoln, RI.
