Job Description

Job Opening:
Quality Assurance Inspector Role Overview:
The Quality Assurance Inspector ensures every medical device we produce is safe and compliant. You will be responsible for the "final look," verifying everything from initial prototypes to the labels on the box.
Core Responsibilities Inspections:
Perform First Article (FAI) and final inspections on key units, including labeling and packaging.
Quality Control:
Identify non-conforming materials and ensure all products meet engineering and quality standards.
Compliance:
Follow
FDA, ISO
13485, and company-specific codes (AdvaMed/MedTech). Complete annual training to stay current on global regulations.
Field Support:
Clean and inspect medical tray systems returning from the field.
Professionalism:
Maintain high ethical standards and represent the company professionally with all third parties. What You Bring (Qualifications)
Education:
High school diploma required; AA in a technical field preferred.
Experience:
2+ years in a regulated industry (Medical Device, etc.) preferred.
Skills:
Ability to read blueprints and a basic understanding of
ASME Y14.5M
.
Communication:
Strong written/verbal skills and excellent documentation habits.
Teamwork:
Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment.
Physical & Vision Requirements Mobility:
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Lifting:
Regularly move up to 10 lbs; occasionally move up to 25 lbs.
Vision:
Must have strong close/distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment You will work in a regulated manufacturing setting where attention to detail is critical. You are the final line of defense for patient safety.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
