Job Description

Overview Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team at a Manufacturing Facility in Beaumont, TX. This will be 5 to 7 days per week, 12 hour days, and pay will be $20 per hour. This is a temp-to-hire position. Bilingual is a plus.
Responsibilities will include:
Performs inspections on designated incoming stock items; completes and files related forms. Rejects non-conforming materials according to written procedures. Verifies dimensional correctness and quality of workmanship of product. Checks electrical phasing on all factory assembled systems. Signs electrical test reports on finished product indicating test was performed as required. Performs installation, maintenance, and repair duties as necessary. Obtains/maintains necessary documentation (quality documents, product design drawings, etc.). Stages equipment, tools, and parts, and directs subcontractors as necessary. Submits all necessary reports, records, and paperwork in a timely manner. Requirements To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements: Ability to stand for 12 hours per shift. Ability to operate a Forklift and Manlift. Ability to operate computer and good writing skills. Ability to read a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer. Has good mathematical skills. Ability to lift 75 pounds. 2 or more years of experience in Quality Control and/or Inspections. Ability to pass pre-employment requirements including a drug test. MUST have lace-up steel toed boots, all other PPE will be provided. High school diploma or GED. Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 - 72.0 per week
