Metal Fabrication Operator Supporting fabrication projects including tanks, vessels, pipe, structural components, and custom rolled assemblies Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Set up and operating plate rolling machines specifications. Read and interpret blueprints Set up and operate plate rolling machines Calculate and adjust settings Measure and verify rolled parts Tack Welding Perform routine maintenance Qualifications Two plus years of experience in metal fabrication, structural steel and rolling machine operation Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, radius/template gauges, tape measures). Geometry and math skills with ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings Experience operating overhead cranes and/or forklifts Familiar carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, standing for extended period of time, bend and reaching Ability to work at heights Experience operating overhead crane and forklift
