Pay rate: $11.75/hr Reports to : Inspector will report to QC Manager
Job Overview:
Supervise that the products comply with quality and safety standards, check samples, and examine the products; register the controls carried out and prepare reports. Responsibilities and Duties Inspect 100% of production for resistance, hi-pot, width, and length to ensure compliance with product specifications and design requirements. Log orders in and out of the MC system. Review the production schedule in MC and work according to shipping deadlines. Return orders that are not physically present in the inspection area. Communicate via Teams when remakes are necessary. Notify designers or engineers of quality issues via Teams. Send completed line items to the Shipping Department. Apply and maintain 5S methodology in the workplace. Environmental Responsibilities Follow IMS policies and objectives.
Understand and practice company programs:
Think Green, 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), and Zero Accidents. Manage environmental impacts in your area, including proper handling of waste. Reduce waste generation of paper, cardboard, and plastic. Reuse and recycle scrap materials such as steel, stainless steel, power leads, conduit, and braids. Take safety measures to prevent accidents in the area. Promote awareness of water and electricity conservation. Know and practice the Emergency Evacuation Plan. Qualifications High school Diploma or equivalency preferred
Work experience in quality control minimum 1 year preferable
Computer literate, data entry, Excel, E-mail, copy machine
Must be able to prioritize/analyze importance level of tasks
Proactive, initiative and good organization
Ability to life heavy objects (50lbs)
Must be willing to perform a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision
