Inspects incoming products to verify proper documentation and conformance to purchase orders and engineering specifications. Inspects aircraft assemblies to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Performs receiving inspections and generates formal inspection reports. Completes FAA and customer-required certification documents. Creates and maintains First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with AS9102 or equivalent. Verify inclusion of all material and process certificates for traceability. Coordinates with stakeholders as required to accurately describe nonconforming conditions for rejected parts. Works closely with FAA DAR. Assists as required with part marking and packaging. Keeps management informed of inspection findings, quality issues, and corrective action progress. Maintains a neat, organized work area and helps with the general daily housekeeping of the department. Meets target hours and completes schedules as set by Supervisor. Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts. Other duties as assigned.
