Position Overview This is a supporting role for the Gatesville site. Facilitate and serve as subject matter expert for the Handling of Quality Problems processes, to include quality of work and proper usage of the problem-solving process. Facilitate the Monitoring and Measuring Equipment aspects of the

ISO 9001

Quality System. Serve as the quality assurance product and process expert interface for manufacturing quality escalations. Analyze and recommend action for customer complaints for Gatesville products. Audit the Laerdal Management System.

Responsibilities:

General QA activities Ensure Gatesville site has implemented and are following Laerdals Management System. Participate in Gatesville Material Review Boards. Participate in Change Reviews, Design Reviews, Customer Eye inspections, Manufacturing Quality Data Review and First Article Inspections. Handling of Quality Problems Respond to manufacturing quality escalations to determine next steps. Facilitate Non-conformance Review (NCR) Board meetings and follow-up actions. Site facilitation on Handling of Quality Problems (Non-Conformance, Corrective and Preventative Action, Investigation, Concession and Rework) handling on time, to appropriate quality levels. Monitoring and Measuring Equipment Plan, communicate and ensure execution of Monitoring and Measuring Equipment process on time, to appropriate quality levels. Maintains and updates Equipment Calibration list, monitor calibration due dates, ensure equipment is calibrated, incoming inspection of Calibration certificates and open Non-conformances if equipment is out of calibration. Maintains and updates Control of Monitoring and Measuring Equipment Records. Works with Calibration Service Provider and Department Managers to schedule equipment and corresponding logistics. Ensures Calibration Service Provider is paid per the contract. Customer Complaints Analyze, report and recommend action on customer complaint trends that lead to quality improvements for the Gatesville site. Audits Participate and lead internal audits as planned.

Experience with ISO auditing, preferred.

Proactive, Knowledge of Quality Assurance Other Requirements:

Travel to Monterrey as needed.
