Job Summary We are looking for a R D Technician II who will perform analysis on sample material, perform various testing activities, and communicate results effectively Essential Duties Evaluate roofing and building materials for quality performance characteristics Report meaningful and unbiased conclusions based on evaluations Assist in root cause investigations Assist in raw material qualifications Perform chemical and physical property testing and experiments Maintain documentation accurately and completely Maintain laboratory equipment in an operable and calibrated condition Assure all activities are performed safely Contribute to Job Safety Analysis and Standard Operating Procedure development Qualifications Required Associate's Degree (AA) 2 + years of relevant experience 2 + years of experience as a lab technician in a manufacturing environment Experience with material science, statistics, and quality functions Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites Qualifications Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in science or engineering Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.
