You will be instrumental in implementing quality assurance systems, conducting inspections, and supporting compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA regulations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify dimensional accuracy and mechanical integrity of products. Interpret manufacturing and engineering documents including mechanical blueprints, GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and production specifications to ensure adherence to quality standards. Conduct regular quality audits to evaluate compliance with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory/legal standards governing manufacturing processes. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments to maintain measurement accuracy and reliability across all inspection activities. Analyze data collected from inspections and testing to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvements. Support manufacturing teams by providing feedback on quality issues and collaborating on corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Document inspection results meticulously, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records for regulatory audits and internal reviews. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in industries regulated by FDA or ISO standards. Strong knowledge of quality systems such as QA/QC protocols, GMP practices, and
ISO 13485
requirements for medical device manufacturing or similar sectors. Hands-on experience with dimensional measurements using height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other precision measurement tools. Familiarity with interpreting mechanical blueprints, GD&T specifications, and production documentation accurately. Ability to perform quality audits effectively while demonstrating attention to detail and analytical skills. Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills to perform calculations related to measurements and tolerances. Excellent communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards.
