2992008785-2 Apply for this job now Job Description First National Bank Texas is seeking an Audit Quality Assurance & Improvement Administrator to lead the internal audit quality program across our community-focused bank. In this role, you will design and maintain a QAIP that aligns with IIA standards, perform internal assessments, and coordinate external quality reviews. You will review audit plans, workpapers, and reports to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to methodology while identifying trends and improvement opportunities. Partnering closely with audit teams, you'll provide coaching, refine policies and templates, and prepare dashboards and metrics on audit performance and quality indicators. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute the internal audit quality assurance and improvement program (QAIP) in line with IIA standards Perform periodic internal assessments and coordinate external quality reviews of the audit function Review audit plans, workpapers, and reports to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to methodology Analyze audit results to identify trends, control gaps, and opportunities to enhance audit effectiveness Draft, track, and report remediation plans for quality findings to audit leadership and stakeholders Create and update audit policies, procedures, and templates to strengthen audit quality Prepare dashboards and metrics on audit performance, quality indicators, and compliance with standards Partner with audit teams to provide coaching, QA feedback, and best practice guidance Support risk-based audit planning by validating risk assessment inputs and coverage Collaborate with compliance, risk management, and operations to align QA activities with bank-wide risk and regulatory expectations Required Skills Internal audit methodology Quality assurance and improvement (QAIP) Risk assessment and risk-based planning Financial services and banking regulations Data analysis and audit analytics Policy and procedure development Report writing and documentation Project management Stakeholder communication and presentation Use of audit management software (e.g., Team Mate, Audit Board)
