We are seeking a high-integrity Quality Inspector who takes extreme ownership of product excellence and is ready to drive development within a fast-paced facility.
The Role:
Principal Functional Responsibilities As a core member of the Quality Department, you will ensure every component meets rigorous company and ISO standards. Your daily "mission" includes:
Precision Inspection:
Perform detailed inspections and testing of incoming materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
Technical Documentation:
Document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), create detailed quality reports, and utilize the Quality Management System for First Article Inspections (FAI).
Systems Mastery:
Effectively navigate Quality Assurance systems to print and utilize drawings, procedures, and SOPs.
Critical Decision Making:
Identify non-conforming materials and use sound judgment to contain or reject products before they reach the customer.
Cross-Shift Collaboration:
Relay critical quality statuses and information across shifts to maintain seamless production flow.
Minimum Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of dedicated Quality and Manufacturing experience.
Blueprint Literacy:
Proven ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
Tool Proficiency:
Hands-on expertise with precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and thread/plug gages .
Standards Knowledge:
Familiarity with AQL sampling plans, SOPs, and inspection reports.
Technical Foundation:
Understanding of Quality Control Plans and
ISO 9001
2015 standards.
Preferred Skills & Competencies Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
ISO Expertise:
Direct experience working within
ISO 9001
certified environments.
Operational Excellence:
Knowledge of 5S methodologies and a "team-player" mentality across departments.
Soft Skills:
Strong computer literacy for data entry and excellent time management. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for up to 8 hours . Frequent lifting of 10-20 lbs; occasional lifting up to 35 lbs. Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. #IND3
