Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Control Lead to champion quality assurance and control processes within our manufacturing environment. The Quality Control Lead performs assessment, documentation, and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's supply chain. Duties and Responsibilities Ø Play a lead role in problem solving issues. Ø Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality. Ø Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements. Ø Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods. Ø Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database. Ø Training the production team in quality control measures to improve product excellence. Ø Proposing improvements to the production process. Ø Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do meet the requirements. Ø Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs. Ø Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and radiographs. Ø Using gages such as calipers and micrometers to measure products. Ø Collecting and compiling statistical quality data. Ø Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans. Ø Determining the causes of product defects and reworks. Implement corrective actions. Ø Verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly by self or sourced. Ø Other duties assigned by the Company. Ø Pre-paring for QS-9000 Registration Certificate. Ø CAD experience beneficial. Join us as a Quality Control Lead where your expertise ensures our products meet rigorous standards of excellence! Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
