Overview Join our dynamic team as a Coatings Inspector in the Blast Yard, where your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout our manufacturing process. In this vital role, you will oversee coating applications, conduct rigorous inspections, and verify compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help us deliver durable, high-quality products that meet regulatory requirements and exceed customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of quality assurance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of coated components using precision measuring instruments such as DFT gauge, Dew Point Meters, adhesion pull off testing equipment , and other coatings inspection equipment. Verify coating thickness, surface finish, and adhesion quality in accordance with specified standards and technical drawings. Conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to production. Interpret mechanical blueprints, production documents, and technical specifications to confirm coating processes meet design requirements. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all equipment such as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) tools are maintained accurately. Collect data during inspections, document findings meticulously, and prepare reports for quality management review. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions aligned with quality systems like QA/QC protocols. Experience Proven experience in quality inspection within a industrial setting, specifically involving coatings or surface treatments. Experience conducting quality audits, analyzing data for trends, and implementing quality assurance initiatives. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and perform dimensional measurements with precision. Must contain
NACE/ AMPP
level 1 coatings inspector certification at minimum. Join us in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality through meticulous inspection and continuous improvement efforts!
Pay:
$21.00 - $32.00 per hour
