Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Plastics Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all plastic components and products meet customer quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of quality systems will help maintain the integrity of our products and uphold our commitment to excellence. Duties Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of plastic parts using measurement tools such as height gauges, go/no-go gauges, pin gauges, and calipers. Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems is a plus. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to identify critical dimensions, geometric tolerances, and inspection points to verify product conformity. Execute quality audits across production lines, identifying deviations from accepted quality standards. Record data accurately during inspections, compile inspection reports, and analyze results to identify trends or recurring issues. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality concerns promptly, providing feedback for process improvements. Maintain calibration schedules for measuring instruments and ensure all inspection equipment is functioning correctly. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or related industries.
