We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality control and has a strong attention to detail.
General Description:
Conduct thorough inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Specific Description:
  • Guarantee adherence to quality standards.
  • Guarantee accuracy of quality control documentation.
  • Guarantee early issue detection, reducing rework and scrap.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments and tools (such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify dimensions and conduct visual inspections for defects or irregularities.
  • Record inspection results accurately, documenting deviations from quality standards and reporting findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address and resolve quality issues identified during inspections.
  • Perform regular audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality procedures and specifications.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area during inspection.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements based on inspection findings.
  • Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Quality Supervisor to support the value-add functions of LGLS.

Experience and Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or coursework in quality control is a plus.
  • Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection tools, techniques, and measurement instruments.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with strong observational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills to report inspection results and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Certification in quality inspection or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience with specific quality management systems or software used for inspection purposes is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift ladders, up to 50 lbs.
