187076 Position Summary The Craft Quality Assurance Technician will provide material testing on various construction materials to ensure client specification requirements are met. Responsibilities include testing several materials on a daily basis using a variety of test procedures. Experience Level Entry Primary Responsibilities and Duties Perform testing of construction materials for conformance to requirements. Develop a thorough understanding of various test procedures. Understanding of state, county, and local municipality specifications. Report test results to management and recognize failing materials immediately. Ability to understand and evaluate test results. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Self-starter with exceptional organization skills.
Ability to perform mathematic calculations:
addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Working knowledge of the construction industry is preferred. Common industry standard certifications are preferred. Ability to obtain certification(s) within 6 months. Ability to gain additional certifications to support project level testing and inspection as needed. Requirements Capability to work extended hours during peak construction seasons and night shifts. Capability to travel to support operations in varied locations as needed. Ability to work collaboratively as a team member with strong interpersonal communication skills. Experience in a fast-paced production laboratory is preferred but not required. Able to meet all physical requirements. Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed.
