Job Description

Position Overview RMGS, Inc. is seeking an Asset Manager to both support and work with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) under an IT Management Services contract. As an Asset Manager you will assist the RMGS Program Manager and DTRA Nuclear Enterprise Mission Assurance (NE-MA) with developing and implementing an efficient, streamlined process for procuring and managing all current and future Information Technology (IT) equipment and software. Roles and Responsibilities Develops and maintains logistics program operations systems by adhering to federal product handling and storage requirements, developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping. Develops project site layout design, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluating, and recommending new equipment. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures, coordinating with security department. Actively maintains detailed inventory management system of equipment and material contained on project site. Coordinates with multiple vendors (including manufacturers and distributors) to arrange deliveries on a consistent schedule. Performs quality checks of all material that enters and exits the project site. Coordinate with QC and production to ensure identification, segregation, and proper disposition of non-conforming material (RMA, RTV, Purges, Holds etc.) Implement Contractual obligations towards management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Attends project team meeting with various project teams. Coordinates and communicates with all project superintendents, project managers, and project engineers who have material stored in warehouse. Coordinate closely with personnel to ensure that material is transferred (with documentation) to required location and personnel. Document, implement and maintain controls applicable to quality and security standards. Maintains secure storage of certain material to meet client material security requirements. Understand project job requirements and be able to compare material received against specific project requirements. Required Qualifications and Experience 5-7 years of experience 10+ with a high school diploma Maintain a Secret clearance Experience in logistic/supply change management Managing Processes and management Inventory Cycle Counting, MS Excel Analyzing Information, Ability to travel locally with own transportation.
