As a Quality Assurance Technician II, you are a critical link in delivering high-quality windows and doors that our customers can trust. Operating with full proficiency and independence, you'll conduct thorough inspections, investigate quality issues, and lead root cause analysis. Working hand-in-hand with production, you'll not only catch defects—you'll help prevent them, directly elevating our processes and product standards every day.
salary:
$51,999 - $52,000 per year shift: Second work hours: 2 PM - 1 AM education: High School Responsibilities Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products. Conduct product and process audits to verify compliance with engineering specifications, standard work, and quality requirements. Perform dimensional, visual, functional, and destructive testing using appropriate measuring equipment. Record inspection results, maintain quality documentation, and enter data into quality systems. Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials or products and initiate containment activities when appropriate. Investigate routine quality concerns and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions. Provide guidance to production associates regarding quality standards and inspection methods. Assist in developing and improving inspection procedures and standard work. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects and improve process capability. Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
