QUALTIY INSPECTOR

Cascade Precision Inc in Mukilteo Washington is a manufacturer of precision machined components and sub-assemblies. Throughout our 70-year history, we have continued to support various high-tech industries with top tier quality products. This Quality Inspector opening is for a full time, Monday

• Friday day shift position.

Wage range:

$22.00

• $30.00 per hour. It is expected that this person will have a minimum of 1 year of inspection experience in a precision machining environment. The Quality Inspector duties include the following:
• Reading drawings,
• Handling parts,
• Performing measurements,
• Compiling certification packages,
• Maintaining quality controls in manufacturing operations.
• A production machining background is desirable. The Quality Inspector skills include the following:
• The knowledge and understanding of dimensioned machining engineering prints.
• An understanding of GD&T controls and visual finish requirements.
• The ability to apply shop math to solve measurement problems.
• Experienced with the use of measuring tools. (Calipers, Micrometers, CMM, AVR)
• The ability to write reports and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Experience in supporting ITAR, ISO9001 and AS9100 quality requirements.
• The knowledge of computer data entry and general Microsoft Office type software.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
