About the Role Reporting to the Quality Control Lead, the Quality Technician is located onsite in Superior, WI. This individual is accountable for training and providing assistance and support to the QC Inspectors and/ or the project team members in planning, implementation, coordination, and reporting in regard to the welding specifications and practices. As a Quality Technician at Graham, you will: Help implement and maintain a project quality control system including design and development of welding specifications and practices. Ensure that Quality Control is carried out in a satisfactory manner according to the specification and applicable codes. Supervise and coordinate rotating equipment activities on site. Provides leadership and direction to site QC functions in support of the applicable scope of work. Delivers training and mentoring of identified requirements to personnel. Assist QC Inspectors in resolving, identifying and recording any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. Liaise with Graham site administration relative to the execution of project scope requirements. Participate and execute audits per QMS. Gather, analyze and report data specific to site and corporate requirements. Ensures turnover documentation is completed and delivered to the client relative to the scope of work. Determine compliance of client documentation and its appropriateness relative to Graham work pack preparation. Review and Maintain Quality Control Records for accuracy.. Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. Administrate issues brought forward to them from QC Inspectors and process non-conformance reports. Direct, document and propose solutions to rectify unsatisfactory workmanship.
