Job Description
Product Quality Specialist Newcomer Supply is a laboratory supply company based in Waunakee, WI. The company manufactures and distributes products for histology and pathology laboratories throughout the country. We are hiring a new full-time Product Quality Specialist to be part of our dedicated team of talented, detail-oriented, problem solvers. This position requires a candidate with a proven work history that demonstrates a high level of detail awareness, work task efficiency, and accuracy. You will be responsible for product quality inspection, assembly, finishing, and receiving. We have a dedicated team centric, fun, and hard-working culture. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys accurate detail oriented work that requires you to understand and complete complex product manipulation procedures.
Location:
Waunakee, WI Job Type:
- Full Time 1st Shift - Hourly, Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Become proficient in all trained tasks within 3 months.
- Accurate inspection of products to ensure quality standards have been met.
- Correctly and efficiently complete product assembly tasks.
- Complete product finishing and quality documentation.
- Precisely inspect incoming products from vendors to ensure receiving and quality standards are met.
- Accurate data entry.
- Inventory functions.
- Assist when needed with laboratory and quality department work tasks.
Requirements:
- High level data accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstratable skills for identifying errors and managing quality issues as they occur.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Eager to learn, listen, and ask questions throughout training and competency verification.
- Neat and legible handwriting required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Goal oriented. Thrives in a work environment that requires continuity and continual improvement.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excels in pressure situations and meets deadlines.
- Demonstrates professionalism throughout the work environment and with all team members.
- Strives for individual and team excellence.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding and application of basic math.

- Capable of documenting progress on assigned tasks.
Experience:
- High school degree required.
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university, preferred not required.
- Experience in quality inspection, preferred not required.
- Experience in product assembly, preferred not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Work will require standing for much of the day alternating with occasional sitting tasks. Requires manual dexterity enough to manipulate, inspect, and assemble products.
- You can lift 55 lbs.
