Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Job Summary We are currently seeking a Sewer to join our client in Manchester, CT. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial sewing machines and be comfortable working with fabric and materials used to manufacture awnings. Responsibilities Sew and assemble awnings and related fabric products according to specifications. Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, align, and sew fabric materials accurately. Follow patterns, measurements, and production instructions. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Make adjustments or corrections as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety and production procedures. Work effectively as part of a team. Qualifications Previous sewing experience preferred but not required. Experience with industrial sewing machines is a plus. Ability to read and follow measurements, patterns, and instructions. Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination. Ability to work with different types of fabric and materials. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift and handle fabric/materials as required.
