! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to create high-quality garments and upholstery items. Your expertise in sewing techniques, fabric handling, and quality standards will ensure that each product meets our rigorous specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the craftsmanship and excellence of our manufacturing process while working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Responsibilities Operate various sewing machines, including serging and embroidery machines, to assemble garments and upholstery components efficiently and accurately. Measure materials and finished products using measuring instruments to ensure precise dimensions and adherence to specifications. Follow detailed sewing instructions and garment construction patterns to maintain consistency across production runs. Handle fabric materials carefully, ensuring proper cutting, alignment, and seam construction to meet quality standards. Monitor the quality of sewn products throughout the process, inspecting for defects or inconsistencies and making adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area by adhering to safety standards in production, including proper handling of materials and equipment. Assist with manual fabric cutting when necessary, ensuring accurate measurements and placement for optimal sewing outcomes. #
INDHP Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
