Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team at Harps Tarps. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality truck tarp products. Your expertise will contribute to efficient production workflows, ensuring that each item meets our quality standards. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines with precision to assemble and finish tarps according to specifications. Follow detailed sewing instructions and work from production orders to ensure consistency and quality. Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring all items meet quality standards before packaging. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot machine issues promptly. Assist in loading and unloading materials, managing inventory within the workspace as needed. Document production activities accurately, including tracking completed units and reporting any machine malfunctions or defects. Requirements Proven experience in sewing is a plus, preferably with industrial sewing machines. No experience required, will train Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is highly desirable to ensure familiarity with fast-paced workflows. Infrequent (i.e. not constant) heavy lifting required Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products. Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Must be able to reliably come to work M-F; 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with potential overtime opportunities and additional incentives

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
