Job Description

Patrick Industries is looking for industrial sewers and upholsters in Nappanne, IN. We are looking to do interviews ASAP and hired within a couple of days. Pay is very competitive depending on position and exp. We also offer medical, dental and vison benefits paid holidays. Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience sewing fabric or leather for marine furniture. This includes knowledge of single needle, double needle, top stitch, and double stitch sewing, as well as experience with different materials such as fabric, leather, vinyl, and foam.

Technical Skills:
Manipulate material to conform to the patterns used. Understand work-in-process tickets, and schedules using them to assemble materials and complete product.
Interpersonal Skills:
Communicate with a variety of people, accommodating the needs of other departments. Communicate with supervisor regarding concerns and resources needed. Required Education and Experience Minimum of one year sewing experience Preferred Education and Experience Manufacturing/industry experience. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are decided by production schedule and your production manager.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Talk and hear. Stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours per day. These jobs cannot be done while seated. Employee must be able to firmly grip material while lifting/carrying. Employee must use hands and fingers to handle or feel material. Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. The employee may be required to work weekends. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
