In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments and upholstery items. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sewing techniques, materials handling, and quality standards in production. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the creation of durable, well-crafted products while adhering to safety and efficiency protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate industrial sewing machines and serging equipment to assemble garments and upholstery components efficiently and accurately Measure fabric and materials using precision measuring instruments to ensure proper dimensions and fit Follow detailed sewing instructions, including seam construction, garment sewing, embroidery, and fabric materials handling Maintain consistent quality standards throughout the production process by inspecting finished work for defects Handle manual cutting of fabrics with attention to accuracy and safety standards in production Manage materials handling tasks, including fabric storage, organization, and inventory control within the warehouse environment Ensure compliance with safety standards in production areas by following established procedures and using protective equipment Perform dimensional measurements on finished products to verify adherence to specifications Support sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output

Requirements:

Proven experience operating sewing machines, including industrial sewing machines and sergers Knowledge of garment construction, sew construction, upholstery techniques, and embroidery processes Familiarity with measuring instruments and dimensional measurements for quality assurance Understanding of quality standards in production environments Ability to handle fabric materials safely and efficiently during manual cutting and sewing tasks Experience with materials handling within a manufacturing or warehouse setting Strong commitment to safety standards in production areas Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes related to sewing and garment assembly Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team If you are passionate about craftsmanship, possess technical sewing skills, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.
