We are looking for skilled sewers with experience operating Walking Foot / Serger sewing machines who can deliver seamstress quality, preferably with experience using other materials (canvas, etc.). JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
Operation of walking foot sewing machine at an intermediate level. Trimming/cutting of parts during assembly Maintaining quality records as required by the company's quality policies and procedures. Prepares machine by changing needles and thread, oiling and changing bobbin, and securing attachments. Perform counting and inspecting of the product during the sewing process. Qualifications and Skills Must be able to understand sewing patterns and fabrics. Must have more than 1 year of experience with walking foot industrial sewing machines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to change projects back and forth as job demands. Ability to perform repetitive sewing of parts that require hand dexterity and concentration on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs. comfortably
