We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Sewing Machine Operator to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska. This position plays a key role in our apparel production process, focusing primarily on operating and maintaining embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered designs on garments and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand, a keen eye for precision, and a commitment to maintaining quality and consistency across all production runs.

Responsibilities May Include:

Set up Sewing machines with correct thread colors, needles, and backing per job requirements Hoop and load garments, hats, bags, and other products Run test samples to verify design accuracy before production Monitor machines during production to ensure quality and consistency Follow design files and work orders exactly Inspect finished items for defects and make necessary adjustments (tension, speed, needles) Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance Replace needles, bobbins, and other consumables as needed Organize and stage garments by job tickets and track production counts Maintain a clean, organized embroidery work area

What We're Looking For:

Prior experience with sewing machines or embroidery machines required. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle repetitive tasks. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Why Join Avid?
