Job Description
This is a weekday first shift opportunity Independently perform all duties necessary to produce complete line of synthetics according to company methods and standards and work instructions utilizing the safest and most efficient means possible Review, interpret and understand codes, instructions and specifications of fabrication tickets and special drawings 2. Select appropriate thread, material and equipment to produce all varieties of sewn products 3. Set up, operate, adjust and maintain all sewn products, production machines and equipment 4. Select, print and attach proper tags and labels to products 5. Count, record and report inventory as required 6. Produce all types of sewn products and assemblies with instruction to meet or exceed Mazzella Quality Assurance Standards 7. Move and handle materials as necessary 8. Report defective or substandard material, supplies or products 9. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow all Safety Guidelines 10. Other duties as assigned Education A high school diploma or GED and trade school preferred; trade school or military experience a plus Experience & Skills
- Experience in sewing or a manufacturing environment preferred
- Must be able to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Requires solid verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills required
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
