Job Summary About Ohio Valley Industrial Services Since 1981, Ohio Valley Industrial Services — a family-owned and operated business — has been a trusted supplier for the industrial, research, and power generation sectors. We specialize in instrumentation, steam and process system components, and custom removable insulation covers like our signature HotCaps™ . We are currently hiring full-time Sewing Machine Operators at our Moon Township, PA location. If you're detail-oriented, eager to learn, and thrive in a team environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Set up and operate industrial sewing machines (change threads, bobbins, and needles) Operate single-needle machines to prep and join materials Fabricate and assemble fabric components according to specifications Perform alterations and repairs as needed Inspect products (e.g., HotCaps™) for defects or inconsistencies Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards Compare materials and finished products to technical specifications Complete additional tasks as assigned Requirements Willingness to learn and take direction Strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous sewing or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to pass a drug screening (drug-free workplace) Ability to handle materials safely within a warehouse setting while adhering to safety standards in production environments Skills Proficient in industrial sewing machine operation Understanding of garment or fabric component construction Ability to identify and correct quality issues Efficient in managing time in a production or warehouse setting Effective communication and teamwork skills Why Join Our Team?
