Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will operate industrial sewing machines to assemble, alter, repair, or finish fabric and textile products while meeting quality and productivity standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment.

Sew, assemble, alter, and repair garments, uniforms, upholstery, or other textile products according to specifications.

Read and follow work orders, patterns, and production instructions.

Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.

Measure, cut, and align fabrics and materials as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs to supervisors.

Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure timely completion of orders.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous sewing machine experience preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Ability to operate industrial sewing equipment safely and efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Frequent use of hands and fingers for sewing and handling materials.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Good vision, including close-up work and attention to detail.
