Our more than 6,000 employees are proud to work at our state-of-the-art sawmills and other facilities, including: manufacturing, custom wood-framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry, and other operations. Currently, we are seeking a qualified Cogen/Boiler Operator to work collaboratively with our sawmill in Lincoln, California . About the Position Maintain a steady flow of fuel to the boiler Remove and clean ash from the bunker Pull, drag, and operate firehoses around the facility with and without pressure Operate equipment including forklifts, front-end loaders, and chainsaws Load ash and chip trucks Climb ladders on heavy equipment and stairs Maintain a clean work area Communicate clearly and safely with coworkers both in person and by radio Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations Repetitive sitting and operating a loader up to 12 hours a day, in all weather conditions Work may consist of various shifts and overtime during busy production times Qualifications 3 years boiler or related experience preferred Proven understanding of boiler operations and mechanical systems Working knowledge of lockout procedures Demonstrated ability to recognize and report defects Ability to perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Why Join Our Team?
