Description:

This position requires the operator to maintain control of two 9 ton pressure pour furnaces including monitoring and controlling the temperature of the furnace; and, the condition of the refractory in the pouring trough. The operator also sets up each production job to pour in automatic mode using PourTech laser pour systems. 1st shift = $21.60 2nd shift = $22.85 3rd shift = $22.60

Requirements:

Obtains necessary samples of the final iron. Pours metal test bars. Ability to ensure all parts of RMP's Quality System for this position are met. Ability to maintain a clean and uncluttered work area. Ability to will work around molten metal and must wear all required safety equipment. Ability to use computer controls and equipment that inoculates the molten metal as it enters the mold. Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and requirements. Ability to lift 50 lbs or more occasionally. Ability to train and operate a jackhammer.
