Responsibilities:

Boiler Firing & Steam Generation:

igniting high-pressure steam boilers, managing water lines to feed pumps, building pressure safely to 125 PSI, and opening main headers.

Water Chemistry & Pre-Treatment:

Running water softeners, testing boiler water quality, and maintaining soft water levels in the Deaerator (D.A.) tank to prevent system scaling or corrosion.

Process Support & Maintenance:

Operating plant cookers, executing daily mechanical maintenance tasks, and keeping accurate legal/operational logbooks. ...
