Fluor is a world-class maintenance, engineering, and construction organization that provides on-site plant maintenance and operations support at numerous industrial manufacturing facilities across the US. As the Boiler and Utility Plant Operator , you will be responsible for safely operating, inspecting, and performing preventive maintenance and repairs to the Central Utility Plant at IRG in Rochester, MN. The regular work schedule is 1st Shift 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (8 days on, 6 days off).

• Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, air compressors, and other utility plant equipment
• Perform inspections, make necessary adjustments, and log results to ensure job specifications are met
• Install, repair, and maintain piping, fittings, and equipment for various systems: steam turbines, air compressors, and boilers
• Prepare boilers and related equipment for state and insurance inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in the plant Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• MN State Engineer's License Second Class "A or B" or obtain a First Class "B" license within 24 months of date of hire Qualifications
• Utility Plant operations experience
• Experience monitoring Automated Process Control System (HMI/SCADA)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able and comfortable in tight spaces
