Job Description
Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Coordinates activities of the cooking ovens during 2nd shift, (knows how to set up/load/empty/read and program ovens for specified product/and handles meat racking for oven preparation).
Maintains time and production records; assists supervisors with paperwork; analyzes and works with others in solving work problems.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Knows how to arrange racks in chill boxes to use their full capacity/to swap out temperature recording charts/ how to troubleshoot boilers/blown fuses and chart recorders.
Inspect the meat after processing to ensure the quality of the meat is being met per customer specifications.
Check temperature of the meat before use.
Communicate with Drivers, Supervisor or designated person to ensure that a constant flow of supplies is there at all times.
Demonstrate the ability to work as a team and follow direction.
Adherence to all quality and safety guidelines.
Lifting up to 60 pounds
Performs other duties as needed.
