Staffworks is hiring an Associate Furnace Operator!

Monday Thursday, 2:00 PM 12:00

AM Pay:

$20.90/hour (includes 10% shift differential) Requirements U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts High school diploma or equivalent Good communication skills Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work at heights up to 60 feet Ability to wear a respirator and required PPE Ability to stand, bend, lift, climb stairs, and perform other physical tasks for extended periods Responsibilities Assist with setup, operation, cleaning, and monitoring of vacuum atomization furnaces Prepare raw materials and assist with furnace operations Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance Remove/replace furnace lids and coils using an electric hoist Clean furnace chambers, crucibles, and equipment Perform housekeeping and follow all safety and EH&S requirements Benefits 120 vacation hours + 96 holiday hours annually 56 sick hours annually with unused sick-time payout Up to $1,000/year attendance incentive 401(k) match up to 4% + additional company contribution up to 7% Company-paid life insurance & AD&D HSA contribution up to $1,500 for eligible employees Onsite fitness center Employee bonus program
