iWorld Professionals is seeking multiple HVAC Utilities Operators to join a leading utilities organization in Rochester New York! In this role, you will maintain and operate water, steam, boiler, and compressed air systems, monitor equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure operations run efficiently and comply with safety regulations.
HVAC Utilities Operator Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain boilers, refrigeration, water treatment, turbines, and distribution systems Perform routine inspections, adjust equipment controls, and document operational data Assist with repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and piping systems Handle chemical treatments safely and conduct system sampling/testing Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and lockout/tagout procedures Maintain equipment in safe, clean, and operational condition Contribute to updates and development of standard operating procedures Support overhead distribution systems and other utilities operations
HVAC Utilities Operator Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in an Operator position or related position Experience or knowledge in refrigeration systems, cooling towers, water treatment, and steam turbines Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization Valid NYS driver's license and proof of insurance required Base pay commensurate with experience, up to $40 per hour, plus a bonus and comprehensive benefits package designed to support your personal and professional success.
