Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Job Summary The Disassembly Technician is responsible for the tear-down, cleaning, and handling of engine components. This position requires hands-on mechanical ability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow written procedures, technical instructions, and safe work practices. Essential Functions- Handle, disassemble, and clean engine components in accordance with training, written references, and established procedures.
- Read and interpret process publications, written instructions, and manufacturer manuals.
- Set up, operate, and maintain equipment used in the tear-down and cleaning department.
- Maintain safety equipment and consistently follow safe work practices.
- Keep the building, tools, equipment, and work area clean and organized.
- Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience, technical education, or direct hands-on component-handling experience.
- Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or aircraft mechanical work preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow technical manuals, process publications, and written instructions.
- Must possess basic SAE hand tools and a tool cart.
- You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted. Work Environment This position is performed in a hands-on shop environment involving engine components, cleaning equipment, tools, and established safety procedures. Technicians must be comfortable following detailed instructions, maintaining a clean work area, and handling precision components with care. Benefits
