Tube Specialties, Inc. is hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our Tool Room team in aerospace manufacturing. This is a hands-on role for a skilled tradesperson who can read blueprints, machine precision parts, and bring design thinking to tooling and fixture work, including CAD software such as SolidWorks. If you take pride in tight tolerances and clean, well-made tools and dies, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Read blueprints, sketches, and specifications to plan and design tooling, dies, and assemblies Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, EDM) to shape parts to precise dimensions Fit, assemble, and repair dies, jigs, gauges, and fixtures using machine and hand tools Verify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators Run test cycles on completed tools and dies, inspect for defects, and make adjustments Recommend design improvements to tooling and fixtures using CAD software such as SolidWorks What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED 3+ years of experience as a Tool Maker Prior press work experience required CNC, CAM, Fadal and Milltronics machine experience preferred Basic knowledge of design principles and CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks) preferred Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality and safety Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand 6-8 hours per day Ability to lift 40-50 pounds Regular use of hands for handling tools, parts, and controls Ability to reach/stretch up to 3 feet Why You'll Like Working Here Hands-on role with real ownership over tooling design and repair Opportunity to apply and grow design skills (CAD/CAM, SolidWorks) alongside traditional machining Stable, full-time manufacturing position with a clear reporting structure Comprehensive medical coverage, vision, dental Air-conditioned workspaces Paid sick leave and paid vacation Costco membership All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
