Job Description

Nesco Resource is looking for 3 rd Shift- Laser Welding Operators located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift:
Monday-Friday from 11:30 PM to 7:00
AM Pay:
$23.56/hour ($19.00/hour plus 24% differential)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. Configure and maintain wire and tube processing equipment in accordance with production schedules and quality standards, making minor adjustments as needed. Operate multiple pieces of equipment within an assigned work cell. Perform in-process inspections and analyze data per work instructions, routers, and specifications using precision measuring tools such as pin gauges, laser micrometers, and other inspection equipment. Record process observations, including dimensional or shape changes related to products, tooling, and equipment. Conduct routine equipment maintenance and inspect drawing dies and tooling before and after use. Maintain inventory of tools, fixtures, and consumable materials within the assigned area. Collaborate with logistics and manufacturing teams to support on-time delivery, minimize scrap, and improve shipment performance. Assist manufacturing engineering by collecting process data to enhance productivity, improve processes, and reduce waste. Ensure all production and development documentation complies with GMP requirements. Enforce line clearance procedures and monitor work order status and workflow. Enter and maintain work orders within the electronic ERP system. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.
Qualifications:
Technical school or college degree preferred, but not required. High School Degree or equivalent required. Experience with Windows based PC's and their related applications such as Excel and Word. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production work instructions, routers and specifications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from operators and to upper management and auditors.
