We currently have openings for a Tool Maker with die mold experience on 1st shift and 2nd shift.
Pay:
Starting at $27 hr., based on experience (minimum 5 years); plus a 10%-night shift premium for 2nd shift
Summary of Position:
Repairs existing dies and develops, cuts, shapes or forms metal work pieces to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Make necessary adjustments to tooling; ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings. Troubleshoot and repair tooling that is not performing to standards. Works on all conventional machine tools. Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools. Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects. Responsible for following all safety procedures / regulations and keeping immediate work area clean. Additional projects may be assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Experience:
Minimum five years tool making experience. Must be familiar with precision measuring tools and have the ability to read blueprints.
