We are currently looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our Tooling team.

Requirements:

DOL certified Journeyman's card in Tool and Die preferred but not required High school diploma or GED Minimum 4 years of experience is required Able to read and interpret blueprints Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauge pins and blocks, various other types of measurement equipment Good mechanical knowledge and understanding of all tool room equipment Computer skills such as Microsoft office and Visi 3D Modeling is preferred Ability to work and communicate well with others Ability to accurately complete complex work with tight tolerances You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing stamping dies, die components, and tooling used in the production process. You will also troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance of machines, and train personnel as required. Candidate must be willing to work first or second shift (Second shift premium offered.) Follow all safety precautions and company policies to prevent injury to self and others. Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauge pins and blocks, various other types of measurement equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Strong communication skills. Strong mechanical and shop math aptitude. Must be punctual and adhere to company attendance policies. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills. Maintain good housekeeping. Familiarity with 3D cad software (Visi) preferred, but not required. Ability to accurately complete complex work with tight tolerances (0.003mm). Ability to work over-time as required. Other tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Department of Labor Tool and Die maker Journeyman certificate preferred, but not required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
