Job Description

Job Summary

PLEASE NOTE

This position will require 6 to 12 months of training on day shift (7a-3p) prior to transferring to 3rd shift (11a-7a).

Core Responsibilities:

NC Machining operation for manufacturing of dies and fixtures

Programming of CNC machines for above (Hyper Mill preferred)

Determines sequencing of machining operations for dies and fixtures

Works with engineering on tool designs

Determines repair methods for dies and fixtures

Performs a wide variety of machining operations requiring difficult setups and methods to maintain very close tolerances

Constructs, repairs, fits and assembles tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges to ensure correct fits and proper operations

Makes necessary tool tryouts and diagnoses and corrects problems

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to perform the physical and functional requirements of the job, including standing for the majority of the work shift.

Must possess a high levels of organization, detail orientation, self-awareness and prioritization skills.

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required
