The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on fabrication skills and experience building fixtures, prototypes, and welded steel assemblies from engineering drawings and customer specifications. Responsibilities Build prototype and production-intent fixtures, racks, and material handling equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols. Measure, layout, cut, fit, and weld steel components to required specifications. Develop and build fixtures to support manufacturing and production processes. Work with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve design or build issues. Make adjustments and modifications to prototypes based on fit, function, and customer requirements. Ensure completed work meets quality, dimensional, and customer specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in fixture building, prototype fabrication, welding, or a related manufacturing field. Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills. Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Experience with measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, levels, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. Ability to use shop equipment including saws, drills, grinders, and other fabrication tools. Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects. Experience in automotive manufacturing, material handling racks, or industrial fabrication is a plus.
