Programming and Operating Coordinate Measuring Machines to ensure best quality products and services.

Reporting to:

General Manager - Select Tool USA Inc.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop CMM programs based on job line-up. Measure and adjust checking fixtures and gauges to meet final tolerance specifications. Perform overall functionality and appearance quality checks. Develop certification and measurement reports. Perform gauge R&R's as well as part layouts. Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities. Verify and maintain equipment accuracy as well as work area cleanliness and order. Other duties as required.

Requirements:

Knowledge of PC-DMIS and SolidWorks software an asset. Relevant experience with automotive checking fixtures. Ability to read, understand, and interpret part prints, product specifications, and GD&T. Efficient planning and execution of tasks. Excellent verbal and writing communication skills. Strong Mechanical background is considered an asset.

Education:

Minimum High School diploma. Technical School Graduate or equivalent experience in a related manufacturing environment.
